參觀動物園，你就過癮喇...

people always say having animals in zoos for kids to look at will make them "know nature" and grow up to want to respect animals

but how can you teach children to respect animals when you have them in cages like freaks on display - that's no way of respecting them

and seeing animals behing metal bars in a concrete prison can't teach kids what 'nature' is - because that's simply the most unnatural thing in the world

we've had zoos for so long - hong kong has had ocean park all these years too. does it seem like our generation have particular respect for animals or any desire to protect the environment (in a way that's not only slogan-parrotting)?!!
